B Lab is a nonprofit organization committed to transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. As a leader in economic systems change, B Lab develops standards, policies, and tools for businesses, and also certifies companies known as B Corps, which adhere to higher standards of public transparency, legal accountability, and environmental and social impact. The organization has built a community of over 7,500 Certified B Corps, positively impacting more than 680,000 workers globally, and extending to over 200,000 companies that manage their effects with the B Impact Assessment. Their work has earned them recognition as a 2020 Fast Company Most Innovative Companies honoree.
