respACT is Austria's foremost organization dedicated to integrating corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development into the core practices of businesses. As a platform established in 2007 through the merger between the Austrian Business Council for Sustainable Development (ABCSD) and respACT austria, it encourages "responsible action" among its members. By hosting workshops, webinars, and signature events like the CSR-Tag, along with co-organizing prestigious awards such as the TRIGOS and the ASRA, respACT fosters knowledge exchange, showcases best practices, and facilitates networking among professionals across sectors. As the official partner of global initiatives like the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), CSR Europe, and coordinator of the Global Compact Network Austria since 2004, respACT champions the advancement towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), positioning itself as a crucial advocate for sustainability in the Austrian business landscape.
