TAB

TAB is a leading manufacturer in the battery industry, specializing in both lead-acid and Li-ion battery production. Their product range spans from lead acid flooded, VRLA AGM, and VRLA Gel batteries to advanced Li-ion batteries. TAB operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The first plant, in Črna na Koroškem, focuses on starter batteries for various brands like TAB, Topla, Vesna, and VolThor, producing approximately 3 million units annually. The second facility, based in Žerjav, serves a dual purpose: it houses a recycling plant that processes roughly 55,000 tons of waste into about 30,000 tons of lead and alloys each year, in addition to producing industrial batteries, including 1.8 million pieces of traction and stationary elements. The third factory in Prevalje is dedicated to the production of Li-ion batteries. Meanwhile, the fourth site, TAB MAK d.o.o., located in Probishtip, Republic of North Macedonia, manufactures starter and traction batteries under the Vesna brand and operates a smaller recycling plant. TAB's products, noted for their high quality, are distributed globally, particularly across Europe, Asia, and America, and the company also engages in the production of various military batteries.
